    Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

    NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

    Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Gokul Agro Resources(20.0%), Omkar Speciality(20.0%), Fervent Syn(20.0%), Tips Films Ltd.(20.0%), Bajaj Steel(19.99%), DC Infotech(19.97%), Techindia Nirman (19.92%), Cravatex Ltd(19.53%), HPL Electric Power(18.34%) and Vikas Ecotech (18.24%).

    The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 95.71 points up at 59202.9, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 51.7 points up at 17563.95.

    In the Nifty50 index, 36 stocks closed in the green, while 14 stocks ended in the red.

    Meanwhile, stocks such as Tips Films Ltd., DC Infotech, Advitiya Trade India, Mafia Trends Ltd. and K&R Rail Engineering hit their fresh 52-week high, while Policy Bazaar, JohnsonCtrls Hitachi, Cosmo Films, Piramal Pharma Ltd. and Maagh Advertising And Marketing Services Ltd. touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
