    Dalal Street veterans added these stocks in Q1. Do you own any?

    Despite the volatility in equity markets between April to June this year, D-Street's celebrity investors have added several new shares to their portfolio during the same time

    However, some experts mark their re-entry in a few counters, where their holding slipped below a per cent in the previous quarters. On the contrary, few star investors have not picked up any stake in Q1.

    Marquee investor Dolly Khanna remained busy shopping as she clinched as many as half a dozen new shares, including a few multibaggers.

    She picked up 48.7 lakh shares or a 3.3 per cent stake in Chennai Petrochem worth Rs 139.2 crore, whereas 18.8 lakh shares or 1.1 per cent stake in Manali Petrochem worth Rs 19.6 crore.

    The remaining new picks include National Oxygen, Zuari Industries, Monte Carlo Fashions and Suryoday Small Finance Bank, where she owns a 1.1 per cent to 1.8 per cent stake, and their value is between Rs 0.9-28 crore.

    Smallcap Czar Ashish Kacholia bagged fresh stakes in three companies, including Repro India, where he holds a 3.6 per cent stake or 4.58 lakh shares worth Rs 19.3 crore.

    He bought 3.08 lakh shares or 4.2 per cent stake in kitchenware maker Inflame Appliances. He also entered Barbeque Nation Hospitality by buying a little over 1 per cent stake in the company, worth Rs 45.1 crore.

    Seasoned investor Mukul Agrawal added five new stocks to his portfolio, including GM Breweries, where he re-entered after a hiatus of one quarter. He holds a 1.4 per cent stake or 2,56,971 equity shares worth Rs 15 crore.

    Agrawal also added 4.63 lakh shares or 1.8 per cent stake of Jagsonpal Pharma and 3.7 lakh shares or 2.7 per cent stake of Pix Transmissions during Q1FY23. CL Educate and recently listed Ethos were his recent additions during the quarter.

    Dalal street veteran Sunil Singhania was playing bold on newly listed companies. His superstar fund manager's Abakkus Asset Management added at least five new stocks in its portfolio, of which three debuted in the last year.

    His fund held 5.23 lakh shares or 1.3 per cent stake in Paras Defence and Space Tech worth Rs 31.6 crore, whereas its 1.1 per cent stake or 16.12 lakh shares in CMS Info Systems is worth Rs 41.3 crore.

    Abakkus also holds 3.02 lakh shares or a 1.3 per cent stake in Ethos. J Kumar Infraprojects and Stylam Industries are two other additions to his portfolio.

    The big bull of Dalal Street, Rakesh Jhunjhuwala, added Escorts Kubota to his portfolio during the June quarter. However, this scrip was added to his portfolio after a short hiatus.

    Porinju Veliyath, another renowned investor and founder of Equity Intelligence, picked up a stake in microcap TCM. His daughter Shilpa Porinju Veliyath owns 1 lakh shares or 1.34 per cent stake worth Rs 50.1 lakh in the company.

    Other celebrity investors including Radhakishan Damani, Rekha Jhunjhunwala, Akash Bhanshali, Ashish Dhawan, Anil Kumar Goel, Vijay Kedia didn't add any new stock to their portfolio in the June quarter.
