ReutersNEW DELHI: Mazagon Dock Ship(Rs. 1400.52 crore), Kaynes Technology India Ltd.(Rs. 1142.85 crore), PayTM(Rs. 1100.94 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1040.29 crore), RIL(Rs. 780.17 crore), HAL(Rs. 743.60 crore), Max Financial(Rs. 711.93 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 687.41 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 682.06 crore) and Bharti Airtel(Rs. 647.08 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 84.25 points up at 18244.2, while BSE Sensex rose 274.12 points to 61418.96.
In the Nifty index, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 2.67 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.68 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.61 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.43 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 1.31 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.11 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.75 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 0.57 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.42 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 0.22 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
