Narrow Escape: Man abandons motorcycle on track seeing fast-approaching train in Uttar Pradesh

In a scary turn of events, a man barely saved his life by abandoning his bike seeing fast approaching train at a railway cross junction in Uttar Pradesh's Etawah. The dramatic series of event, happened in Ramnagar area of Etawah, was captured on the security CCTV camera.
The CCTV video footage shows that the biker was trying to cross the closed railway junction, but when he realised that a fast-approaching train is coming towards him, he tried to take her bike away from the tracks but the byke front tyre got stuck in the track. Seeing the Jharkhand Swarna Jayanti Express approaching at a high speed, he abandoned his motorcycle and ran away from the rail tracks. The bike was crushed under the train and some of the mangled parts of the bike were later found near the tracks.


Other pedestrians and two-wheeler riders were also waiting on the crossing as another train was passing through the other tracks. Spotting a train on their tracks, they moved back, except one whose attempt failed as his bike slipped off the road.

According to reports, the biker will be served a notice and may also be arrested as he attempted to cross the tracks even when the railway crossing was closed.
