Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 22.14 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 11.42 crore), IDBI Bank(numbers of share traded: 10.07 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 9.61 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 8.82 crore), Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 5.86 crore), IOB(numbers of share traded: 5.07 crore), Hind Const Co(numbers of share traded: 4.21 crore), South Indian Bnk(numbers of share traded: 3.24 crore) and Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 3.03 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 132.7 points down at 17859.45, while BSE Sensex ended down 452.9 points at 59900.37.

On the other hand, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 3.01 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.98 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.79 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 2.62 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.52 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
