Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 20.71 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 14.28 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 9.76 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 8.22 crore), Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 5.88 crore), IOB(numbers of share traded: 5.33 crore), Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 4.57 crore), South Indian Bnk(numbers of share traded: 4.28 crore), Hind Const Co(numbers of share traded: 3.94 crore) and Bank of Maharashtra(numbers of share traded: 3.58 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 50.8 points down at 17992.15, while BSE Sensex ended down 304.18 points at 60353.27.

On the other hand, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 7.17 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 5.10 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 2.22 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 1.36 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(down 1.31 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
