Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Dangee Dums, IRIS Clothings, Avro India, Silver Touch Tech and Impex Ferro Tech, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:15AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 196.75 points to 16004.75 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Indus Towers, Oracle, Honeywell, E2E Networks and Starteck Finance, touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 42 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 8 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, M&M, Hero MotoCorp, Titan Company and UPL were among top gainers, while NTPC, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, Hindalco and Power Grid traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 576.26 points up at 53506.57 at 11:15AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Aquaculture, IT - Hardware, Beverages - Alcoholic, Miscellaneous and Auto sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Media & Entertainment and Power sectors.
