    Stocks in focus: Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Eveready Industries, Aster DM Healthcare, GMR Infra, Alkem Labs and more
    Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 54 points, or 0.34 per cent lower at 15,746.50 signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a positive start on Monday. Here are a dozen stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

    Info Edge, Oil India, Bharat Dynamics: Info Edge (India), Oil India, Bharat Dynamics, TCNS Clothing, Jaiprakash Associates, VST Tillers Tractors, MM Holdings, Pokarna, HBL Power Systems, SP Apparels, Rico Auto Industries, Pearl Global Industries and Rana Sugars are among the companies that will announce their March quarter results today.

    BOB, Reliance Home Finance: Authum Investment and Infrastructure has emerged as the highest bidder for Reliance Home Finance, a group company of the debt-ridden Anil Ambani's Reliance Group, with a Rs 2,900 crore offer. Sources said lenders led by Bank of Baroda would receive Rs 2,587 crore or 90 per cent upfront and remaining Rs 300 crore within a year.

    Reliance Industries: India's largest telecom operator Reliance Jio gained over 79 lakh mobile users in March, comfortably surpassing the combined net adds by rivals Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea during the month, according to data released by TRAI. The company's AGM is scheduled on June 24, Thursday.

    HDFC Bank: The private lender said its board has given its approval to buy more than 3.55 crore shares in group firm HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company for over Rs 1,906 crore from the parent company Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC). Board of the Bank has declared a dividend of Rs 6.50 per share for the year ended March 2021.

    Centrum Capital: The joint venture floated by Centrum Group and digital payments startup Bharatpe for launching a small finance bank will infuse Rs 1,800 crore capital into troubled Punjab & Maharashtra Cooperative Bank (PMC) on its merger with the proposed bank, a top Centrum official has said.

    Vedanta: The Anil Agarwal led miner has emerged as successful bidder for a coal block in Odisha which was put for re-bid in the second attempt of auction of blocks for commercial mining.

    Sterlite Technologies: The digital networks integrator has said that rapid digitisation is fuelling demand for solutions, both in India and overseas, despite the COVID pandemic.

    Steel Authority of India: The state-owned metal company SAIL has postponed its plans to begin commercial production of head hardened (HH) rails at its Bhilai Steel Plant in Chhattisgarh, as the foreign experts involved in the trials left India in the wake of the second Covid wave.

    PNB Housing Finance: In a rare regulatory move, Sebi has restrained PNB Housing Finance from going ahead with shareholders' voting on the proposed Rs 4,000 crore-deal with Carlyle group and directed the company to carry out the valuation process as per the relevant legal provisions.

    Karnataka Bank: The private sector lender has declared accounts of Reliance Home Finance and Reliance Commercial Finance a fruad with combined loan outstandings of over Rs 160 crore to the lender.

    NTPC: The state-owned power giant posted nearly three-fold jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 4,649.49 crore for March quarter 2020-21 on the back of higher revenues. The consolidated net profit of the company in the year-ago period was Rs 1,629.86 crore.

    UCO Bank: The state-owned lender said its board will meet next week to consider raising up to Rs 500 crore as tier-II capital.

    Alkem Laboratories: The drug company said the US health regulator has issued two observations after inspection of its St Louis-based manufacturing facility.

    Insecticides India: The agro chemical firm reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 21.78 crore for the quarter ended March. The company had posted a net loss of Rs 7.11 crore in the year-ago period.

    Adani Power: The Adani Group firm has emerged as the successful bidder for Essar Power's 1,200 MW thermal power project in Mahan, Madhya Pradesh. The Adani Power bid for the project has been approved by a committee of creditors.

    GMR Infrastructure: The Airprot services firm reported narrowing of its consolidated loss to Rs 723.36 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021. The company had a consolidated loss after tax of Rs 1,126.82 crore in the same period a year ago.

    Jammu & Kashmir Bank: The state owner lender said its board has approved the proposal to raise up to Rs 150 crore by allotting shares to employees.

    Hinduja Global Solutions: The BPO arm of the diversified Hinduja Group, saw its consolidated net profit almost triple to Rs 130.3 crore in the March 2021 quarter. The company had registered a net profit of Rs 44.8 crore in January-March 2020.

    Aster DM Healthcare: The healthcare services said it has tied up with Dr. Reddy's Laboratories to administer the COVID-19 vaccine Sputnik V as part of a limited pilot soft launch.

    ICICI Bank: S&P Global Ratings on said it has revised the rating outlook on ICICI Bank Ltd to stable from negative on grounds that the lender will benefit from the sale of stake in subsidiaries. The rating agency affirmed its 'BBB-' long-term and 'A-3' short-term issuer credit ratings on ICICI Bank.

    Srei Equipment Finance: The NBFC said Singapore-based Makara Capital Partners Pte Ltd has shown interest to invest up to Rs 2,200 crore by picking up equity and other securities in the company.

    Eveready Industries India: The batteries and flashlights major reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 442.53 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2021, hit by higher expenses and exceptional adjustments towards provision for outstanding inter-corporate deposits and write-offs.

    HT Media:
    The media firm reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 19.09 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021. The company had posted a net loss of Rs 188.72 crore for the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.

    IDBI Bank: The lender plans to divest its stake in Asset Reconstruction Company Ltd (Arcil) and has invited bids from interested parties.

    EKI Energy Services: The consulting services firm reported a four-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 18.70 crore during 2020-21, mainly on the back of higher revenues. EKI Energy, had reported a net profit of Rs 4.51 crore during 2019-20.

    Polycab India: The cable manufacturer has signed an agreement to acquire 100 per cent stake in Bengaluru-based Silvan Innovation Labs Private Limited (Silvan).

    Godrej Properties: Godrej Properties has become the country's largest listed real estate developer in terms of sales bookings during the last fiscal year as it clocked a record pre-sales of Rs 6,725 crore despite the COVID pandemic.

    Bank of Maharashtra: The state-owned lender has become top performer among public sector lenders in terms of retail and MSME loan growth during 2020-21. The Pune-based lender recorded a 35 per cent growth in MSME loans at Rs 23,133 crore in 2020-21, according to the BoM data.

    Marico: The FMCG major is pushing to strengthen the positioning of its Saffola brand as a preventive, healthy lifestyle advocating food product, not just an edible oil, by introducing health and wellness products under the range, according to a senior company official.
