Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 2391.85 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 2083.96 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1812.40 crore), RIL(Rs. 1288.37 crore), HDFC(Rs. 1241.22 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 1146.89 crore), SBI(Rs. 955.91 crore), Zomato(Rs. 934.74 crore), ITC(Rs. 800.91 crore) and Bharti Airtel(Rs. 782.65 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 35.75 points up at 18321.15, while BSE Sensex rose 98.84 points to 61872.62.

In the Nifty index, Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 2.80 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 2.66 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.50 per cent), ITC Ltd.(up 1.76 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.55 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Wipro Ltd.(down 1.40 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.03 per cent), UPL Ltd.(down 0.95 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(down 0.91 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 0.75 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
