BENGALURU: Infosys executive vice-president and deputy CFO Jayesh Sanghrajka resigned from the firm on Monday after a long innings. Sanghrajka, who had been made interim CFO following CFO MD Ranganath's exit in November last year, has spent around 14 years in Infosys over two stints. He has held various senior roles in the finance department, including as corporate finance controller.

In March, Infosys appointed former Bharti Airtel executive Nilanjan Roy as CFO.

Sanghrajka played a key role in the company’s recent buybacks. The IT major did a Rs 8,260-crore buyback that began in March. It's not clear what he intends to do next.

Asked about the exit, Infosys said it does not comment on appointments or exits of executives other than key managerial personnel (KMPs).

Corporate finance, accounting, taxation and investor relations rolls up to the finance function. Some of the key leaders here include Sunil Dhareshwar, SVP and group head - global tax and corporate accounting, Deepak Bhalla, SVP and head of business finance and revenue assurance and global CFO-consulting, BPO and products, and Sachin Zute, VP-corporate finance, treasury, M&A and subsidiaries finance.
