Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Thursday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Pecos Hotels & Pubs(14.94%), Southern Petro(14.8%), Cargosol Logistics Ltd.(14.75%), M&M Financial(13.51%), Weizmann Ltd(13.43%), Mas Fin Services(13.06%), Madhav Infra Proj(12.9%), Murudeshwar Cera(12.87%), Indigo Paints Ltd.(12.22%) and Eveready Ind(10.71%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 69.68 points down at 60836.41, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 30.15 points down at 18052.7.

In the Nifty 50 index, 25 stocks ended in the green, while 23 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Cargosol Logistics Ltd., Mas Fin Services, Telesys Info-Infra(I)Ltd., Karnataka Bank and Bharat Seats hit their fresh 52-week high, while Manali Petro, Rel Capital, SREI Infra Fin, S M Gold and Relaxo Footwear touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
