Max Financial shares decline 0.13% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Max Financial Services Ltd. traded at Rs 798.4 on BSE at 10:46AM (IST) on Monday, down 0.13 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 627.8 and a high of Rs 1058.0.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.

A total of 5,845 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 10:46AM (IST).

The stock of Max Financial Services Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 27540.16 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 91.74, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 6.61. Return on equity (ROE) was at 6.43 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 278 stocks traded in the green, while 223 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 14.72 per cent in the Max Financial Services Ltd. as of 30-Sep-2022 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 45.62 per cent and 31.71 per cent, respectively.
