Mr Balaji Vittal, Author and Bollywood Commentator, highlighted the need for adaptability and innovation, pointing to Bollywood as a prime example of complex project management. Vidushi Debasmita Bhattacharya's serene sarod performance set a tranquil mood, while sand artist Mr Venugopal Sand Artist created art in the most unexpected ways, showing the harmony in shifting sand. Mr Sephi Bergerson, Photographer and Visual Storyteller, explained that photography is about more than capturing moments - it reveals the soul behind the lens. Ms Jhelum Biswas, Flower Psychometrist and Author, encouraged a return to the beauty and healing power of flowers. Mr Amit Sana, Playback Singer and Indian Idol Finalist, closed the event with enchanting melodies, leaving everyone with a sense of possibility. With sessions covering CSR requirements under Indian Standards 26001:2024, the legal perspective of CSR, the role of academia in social responsibility, and emerging trends in CSR, the seminar provided a holistic understanding of the crucial topics. In the event, welcome address by Dr Divya Singhal, Chairperson of the Centre for Social Sensitivity and Action (CSSA) and convener of the seminar, Keynote speakers such as Mr Anuj Bhatnagar, Scientist G & Head, MSD BIS and Mr Rajiv Ranjan, Scientist C from BIS offered insights into the standardisation and legal framework surrounding CSR, emphasising the importance of compliance and accountability. Dr Ajit Parulekar, Director at GIM highlighted the pivotal role of academia in fostering social responsibility among graduates, stressing the need for integrated sustainability education within curriculums. Ms Pallavi Prabhu Chodnekar, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer at V. M. SALGAOCAR AND BROTHER PVT. LTD.'s discourse on future CSR trends and the integration of technology underscored the evolving nature of CSR practices, especially in embracing concepts like the circular economy.
