Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 42.58 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 29.46 crore), Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 18.13 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 13.51 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 13.50 crore), Bajaj Hindusthan Su(numbers of share traded: 13.46 crore), UCO Bank(numbers of share traded: 9.18 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 8.80 crore), Hind Const Co(numbers of share traded: 8.68 crore) and IOB(numbers of share traded: 8.43 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 35.15 points down at 18385.3, while BSE Sensex ended down 103.9 points at 61702.29.

On the other hand, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 2.86 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 2.23 per cent), UPL Ltd.(down 1.99 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.79 per cent) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 1.60 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
