ThinkStock PhotosNEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Skipper Ltd(up 19.97%), Country Condos (up 18.58%) and W H Brady(up 15.5%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.
The 30-share index, BSE was trading 354.06 points down at 62930.13, while the 50-share index, NSE was 103.65 points down at 18708.85.
In the Nifty50 index, 14 stocks traded in the green, while 36 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Skipper Ltd, W H Brady, Mold Tek Tech, Raymond and Punjab Sind Bank hit their fresh 52-week high, while Indiabulls Intgrtd, Hindusthan Urban Inf, FutureLifestyleFash, Sagar Prod and Premier Ltd touched their new 52-week low during the session.
