Stock market update: Nifty Realty index flat 0.0% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded flat around 11:16AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.

Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.41 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.67 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 0.29 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.07 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(up 0.04 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Godrej Properties(down 1.0 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.58 per cent) and DLF(down 0.27 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was flat 0.0 per cent at 480.4 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 113.55 points at 18049.9, while the BSE Sensex was up 373.13 points at 60488.26.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 41 were trading in the green, while 9 were in the red.

Shares of Zomato Ltd., YES Bank, PNB, Vodafone Idea and JP Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of DB Corp., Wonderla Holidays, Sree Rayalaseema, Tata Investment and Fineotex Chem hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while JFL Life Sciences Ltd., Ameya Precision Engineers Ltd., S & S Power Switch, Debock Sales & Mktg and FutureLifestyleFash hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
