Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Rashtriya Chemicals(Rs. 233.32 crore), YES Bank(Rs. 232.20 crore), PNB(Rs. 205.07 crore), FACT(Rs. 202.99 crore), Dr. Reddys(Rs. 191.14 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 190.48 crore), Adani Wilmar Ltd.(Rs. 186.14 crore), IOB(Rs. 173.68 crore), Shriram Trans Fin(Rs. 161.16 crore) and RIL(Rs. 154.31 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:24AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 113.95 points down at 18008.55, while BSE Sensex was down 384.22 points at 60526.06 as of 10:24AM(IST)on December 29.

In the Nifty index, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 0.80 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 0.77 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 0.35 per cent), UPL Ltd.(up 0.31 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 0.24 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Tata Motors Ltd.(down 1.61 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 1.56 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 1.44 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.42 per cent) and Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(down 1.37 per cent) were among the top losers.
