    Stocks in buzz: Indian Oil, Tata Steel, ICICI Pru Life, Bank of India, Bharat Electronics, Torrent Power, Oberoi Realty, Voltas, Just Dial, NHPC and more
    Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 165.5 points, or 1.03 per cent higher at 16,205.5, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a positive start on Monday. Here are a dozen stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

    Bank of Maharashtra, Alok Industries:
    Bank of Maharashtra, Alok Industries, Heidelberg Cement (India), Ganesh Housing Corporation, Bhansali Engineering Polymers and Nelco are among the company that will announce their quarterly earning for the quarter ended June 2022.

    HDFC Bank:
    The largest private sector lender reported a 20.91 per cent jump in its June quarter net profit at Rs 9,579.11 crore on the back of overall growth. On a standalone basis, its net profit increased to Rs 9,195.99 crore from Rs 7,729.64 crore in the year-ago period, but was down from Rs 10,055.18 crore in the preceding March quarter.

    Tata Steel:
    The steel major has planned capital expenditure (capex) of Rs 12,000 crore on its India and Europe operations during the current financial year. The domestic steel major plans to invest Rs 8,500 crore in India and Rs 3,500 crore on the company's operations in Europe.

    Indian Oil: As competition in fuel retailing grows, state-owned oil marketing firm has launched a unique Bikers Cafe to cater to the needs of biker expeditions to the Himalayas as it looks to retain its market leadership with differentiated offerings tailored for various consumer sets.

    Jindal Steel and Power: The steel maker reported a multifold jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 2,770.88 crore for the quarter ended on June 30, 2022, on account of higher income. The company's 'total profit' was at Rs 14.25 crore in the April-June period of 2021-22.

    Vedanta: The Billionaire Anil Agarwal-led mining major expects to bring into operation two coal blocks in Odisha in this fiscal and is working out a plan to fast-track the operationalization of another coal mine in the eastern state.

    Federal Bank:
    The private lender reported a 63.5 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 601 crore in the June quarter on a steep decline in money set aside for bad loans. The South-based lender had reported a net profit of Rs 367 crore in the year-ago period.

    Vodafone Idea: The debt-ridden telecom operator's shareholders have approved equity allocation worth Rs 436.21 crore to its promoter entity, the Vodafone Group. As per voting results submitted to the stock exchanges, 99.94 per cent of VIL shareholders approved allocation of the equity to Vodafone Group firm Euro Pacific Securities.

    L&T Technology Services: The midcap IT player posted a 27 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 274 crore in the three months ended June. The company had a net profit of Rs 216.2 crore in the same period a year ago.

    ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company:
    The private insurance player reported Rs 156 crore net profit in the April-June quarter of this financial year amid a moderating trend in the pandemic-related claims and provisions. The company had reported a net loss of Rs 186 crore in the year-ago quarter.

    Bank of Baroda: The state run lender will raise Rs 1,000 crore debt capital by issuing long-term bonds to cater to the financing requirement in the infrastructure sector. The lender has received approval from its Investment Committee.

    Bharat Electronics: The state-owned defence company clocked a 1,401 per cent year-on-year growth in net profit at Rs 366.33 crore for the quarter ended June 2022, driven by strong operating income. The revenue in Q1 grew by 90.5 per cent to Rs 3,140.6 crore compared to corresponding period last fiscal.

    Torrent Power: The electric utility player intends to increase its renewable energy portfolio through acquisition of existing projects and is also looking for new opportunities in transmission and distribution sectors.

    Oberoi Realty:
    The Mumbai-based real estate company reported a five-fold year-on-year increase in Q1FY23 profit at Rs 403.48 crore as against Rs 80.81 crore in same period last year. Revenue tripled to Rs 934.81 crore from Rs 294.77 crore during the same period.

    Hindustan Zinc: The Vedanta group firm is looking at expanding its footprint in the production of zinc alloys and has received approval to set up a 30 kilo tonnes per annum plant. The move will make way for the production of value-added zinc alloy products and enable the company to deliver international quality products in the domestic market.

    Voltas: The Tata group firm said it sold close to 1.2 million units of residential ACs in the first half of 2022, registering a 60 per cent growth helped by an intense summer and expansion of sales network. The company sold close to 1.2 million AC units in H1 CY 22, ever highest by any player in the industry.

    Just Dial: The local search platform recorded widening of consolidated loss to Rs 48.36 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2022. The company had posted a loss of Rs 3.52 crore in the same period a year ago.

    NHPC: The State-owned hydro power giant has inked two agreements to develop green hydrogen technologies in Leh and Kargil. NHPC signed two MoUs for the development of 'Pilot Green Hydrogen Technologies' in line with the country's resolve to reduce the carbon footprint in the Power Sector in Leh and Kargil districts.

    Bank of India: The state-owned lender said its shareholders have approved a proposal to raise up to Rs 2,500 crore fresh equity capital by various modes. The decision was taken at the bank's Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on July 15.

    Happiest Minds Technologies:
    The smallcap IT company purchased a fully built-up ready-to-use commercial property spread over 2.4 lakh square feet in Bengaluru for Rs 101 crore. The facility with a seating capacity of 1,600 seats is in the technology hub of Electronics City.

    Medplus Health Services:
    The medical and pharmacy retailer has incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary namely, MedPlus Insurance Brokers. The subsidiary will carry on the business of direct insurance broking business in life and general insurance, and all kinds of guarantee and indemnity business.

    Den Networks: The digital cable TV service provider reported a 69 per cent year-on-year decline in consolidated profit at Rs 12.71 crore in the quarter ended June 2022, dented by lower revenue and weak operating performance as the revenue fell 6.5 per cent to Rs 283.36 crore in the given quarter.

    Priti International:
    The home furnishing startup said it will invest over Rs 3 crore to open five stores in four states by the end of this financial year. The first offline store will come up in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, next month, while the second store will be opened in Pune (Maharashtra) by October.
