Shree Cements shares decline 0.87% as Sensex slides

Shares of the Shree Cements Ltd. traded at Rs 24094.5 on BSE at 12:53PM (IST) on Friday, down 0.87 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 17900.0 and a high of Rs 27932.6.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap down opening in the morning.

A total of 244 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:53PM (IST).

The stock of Shree Cements Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 86864.4 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 54.22, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 4.96. Return on equity (ROE) was at 13.35 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 169 stocks traded in the green, while 331 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 62.55 per cent in the Shree Cements Ltd. as of 30-Sep-2022 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 11.85 per cent and 10.79 per cent, respectively.
