Share price of ICICI Pru Life rises as Nifty strengthens

Shares of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. gained 0.33 per cent to Rs 471.95 in Monday's trade as of 11:49AM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 474.85 and low of Rs 469.3 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 8.31 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 11:49AM shares and turnover at Rs 0.49 crore around that time.

The stock of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 608.65 and Rs 430.0, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.14.

Promoters held 146.7 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2022, while overseas investors held 30.82 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 11.5 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 17466.3 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2022, down 24.43 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 23111.85 crore and down 74.88 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 9987.32 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 221.56 crore, down 28.99 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
