ReutersNEW DELHI: Shares of Mahalaxmi Rub, Shriram Pistons, Prolife Industries, SKM Egg Prod and Jay Jalaram Technologies Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:04AM(IST)on NSE.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 202.2 points to 18218.25 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Cerebra Integrat, Sintex Inds., Indiabulls Intgrtd, Ameya Precision Engineers Ltd. and Arshiya, touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 2 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 48 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, UltraTech Cem., Adani Ent., Axis Bank, Hero MotoCorp and SBI were among top gainers, while Hindalco, UPL, JSW Steel, Tech Mahindra and Eicher Motors traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 636.49 points down at 61169.7 at 10:04AM(IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Paper, Telecommunications, Rubber, ReIT and InvIT sectors, while selling was visible in Learning & Education, IT Enabled Services, Services, NBFC and Miscellaneous sectors.
