'Give us some tips', Hong Kong skipper asks Babar Azam: Watch video

It's a do or die match for both Pakistan and Hong Kong as they play each other on Friday evening at the Asia Cup 2022.

Whoever wins this match progresses in the tournament to take on India in the Super 4 match on September 4. Both the teams have lost their opening matches to India.

The Hong Kong team, comprising mostly of players from South Asia, have been at the Asia Cup only four times in twenty years but no team would want to write them off in a T20I match.

On the eve of the match Hong Kong skipper Nizakat Khan caught up with Palistan captain and star batsman Babar Azam in the nets.

The Pakistan cricket board tweeted a video of the friendly chat between the two, in which Khan is seen trying to pick the brains of the ace batter.

'Koi tip hame bhi do ( Give us too a tip),' Pak-born Khan is heard asking to wich Azam - currently the top ranked player in the world in the shorter format - replies, 'Belief rakho.'

They then go on to discuss Azam's bat, with Khan trying it for weight and balance.

Pakistan lost their campaign opener against India, and given that Hong Kong is capable of springing a surprise on their day, will not be taking this match lightly.

They ran India close in the previous edition of the Hong Kong, and the last thing Pakistan would want to do is take them for granted.

Hong Kong will also be aware of the fact that Pakistan are yet to register a T20I win this year. Pakistan has played two T20Is this year, facing defeat in both of them

There are at least five Pakistan-born players in the Hong Kong squad.
