Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 1537.33 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1179.95 crore), Adani Green(Rs. 1073.82 crore), PNB(Rs. 973.13 crore), Infosys(Rs. 923.29 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 922.23 crore), Federal Bank(Rs. 818.73 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 722.25 crore), HDFC(Rs. 719.56 crore) and Adani Ent.(Rs. 678.00 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 61.75 points down at 17894.85, while BSE Sensex fell 168.21 points to 60092.97.

In the Nifty index, Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.12 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.48 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.45 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 1.19 per cent) and Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.11 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.72 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(down 2.25 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.21 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 1.20 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.12 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
