Share market update: Realty shares mixed; Indiabulls Real Estate climbs 5%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading on a mixed note in Thursday's session.

Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate (up 4.99 per cent) , Sunteck Realty (up 2.84 per cent) , Brigade Enterprises (up 2.04 per cent) , Oberoi Realty (up 0.68 per cent) and SOBHA (up 0.21 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Prestige Estates Projects (down 1.05 per cent) , DLF (down 0.51 per cent) , Phoenix Mills (down 0.23 per cent) , Mahindra Lifespace Developers (down 0.16 per cent) and Godrej Properties (down 0.15 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.22 per cent up at 204.15 around 02:04PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 87.55 points at 10793.3, while the BSE Sensex was up 336.06 points at 36665.07.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, SAIL, BHEL, SBI, Hindalco Inds., Tata Motors, YES Bank, NALCO and ICICI Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
