Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.47% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 11:26AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.

Indiabulls Real Estate(up 1.41 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 0.33 per cent) and Godrej Properties(up 0.29 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Phoenix Mills(down 1.55 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 1.54 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 1.03 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.64 per cent) and DLF(down 0.33 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was down 0.47 per cent at 435.9 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 44.85 points at 17781.8, while the BSE Sensex was up 188.22 points at 59945.06.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.

Shares of PNB, BHEL, Tata Steel, Zomato Ltd. and Vodafone Idea were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of QMS Medical Allied Services Ltd., Wealth First Port, Varanium Cloud Ltd., Jay Jalaram Technologies Ltd. and Orbit Exports hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Phantom Digital Effects Ltd., Sigma Solve, Williamson Magor, FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)and Delhivery Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
