Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 3.48 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 2.35 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 1.65 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 1.59 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 1.55 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(numbers of share traded: 1.17 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 1.02 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 0.92 crore), G G Engineering(numbers of share traded: 0.85 crore) and MPS Infotecnics (numbers of share traded: 0.52 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 57.8 points down at 18089.85, while BSE Sensex ended down 161.41 points at 61193.3.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 4.21 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 1.89 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.74 per cent), UPL Ltd.(down 1.69 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.38 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
