Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Bajaj Finance(Rs. 3131.04 crore), RIL(Rs. 1583.76 crore), Infosys(Rs. 1461.91 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1460.72 crore), Bajaj Finserv(Rs. 882.59 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 876.55 crore), HDFC(Rs. 763.71 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 680.57 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 663.77 crore) and TCS(Rs. 604.69 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 50.8 points down at 17992.15, while BSE Sensex fell 304.18 points to 60353.27.

In the Nifty index, Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 2.14 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(up 2.01 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.98 per cent), ITC Ltd.(up 1.97 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.96 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 7.17 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 5.10 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 2.22 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 1.36 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(down 1.31 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
