Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: PNB(numbers of share traded: 11.38 crore), South Indian Bnk(numbers of share traded: 10.38 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 9.34 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 9.06 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 8.61 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 6.58 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 6.29 crore), Axis Bank(numbers of share traded: 5.81 crore), IDFC First Bank(numbers of share traded: 4.58 crore) and Canara Bank (numbers of share traded: 3.60 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 12.35 points up at 17576.3, while BSE Sensex ended up 104.25 points at 59307.15.

On the other hand, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 3.22 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 2.39 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.24 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.20 per cent) and UPL Ltd.(down 1.86 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
