Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 2114.34 crore), RIL(Rs. 1837.16 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 1697.75 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 1267.69 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1004.54 crore), HDFC(Rs. 976.53 crore), Maruti Suzuki(Rs. 894.52 crore), FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)(Rs. 812.43 crore), Infosys(Rs. 811.21 crore) and Kotak Bank(Rs. 734.25 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 0.25 points down at 18118.3, while BSE Sensex rose 37.08 points to 60978.75.

In the Nifty index, Tata Motors Ltd.(up 3.37 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 3.35 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.74 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.49 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 1.34 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Axis Bank Ltd.(down 2.41 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.96 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 1.93 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.84 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 1.72 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
