Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 520.86 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 452.33 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 434.99 crore), Ambuja Cements(Rs. 379.25 crore), HDFC(Rs. 279.54 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 248.80 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 244.25 crore), Bank of Baroda(Rs. 240.34 crore), HAL(Rs. 225.52 crore) and SBI(Rs. 204.97 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:56AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 54.45 points up at 17899.05, while BSE Sensex was up 202.86 points at 60894.4 as of 10:56AM(IST)on February 21.

In the Nifty index, NTPC Ltd.(up 2.44 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 1.56 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.29 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.10 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.00 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Bajaj Auto Ltd.(down 0.77 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.75 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 0.65 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 0.65 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 0.55 per cent) were among the top losers.
