Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Tuesday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Indbank Merc(14.17%), Anjani Finance(13.52%), Tamboli Capital(12.0%), GNFC(10.8%), Lakshmi Auto(10.31%) and Nila Spaces L(10.0%).

The 30-share Sensex traded 68.0 points up at 54538.67, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 12.7 points to 16314.55.

In the Nifty 50 index, 29 stocks traded in the green, while 21 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Tamboli Capital, Optimus Finance, Axita Cotton, Megastar Foods and Shankar Lal Rampal hit their fresh 52-week high, while Rainbow Childrens Medicare Ltd., Seacoast Shipping, Purple Entertainment, Karda Const and Ashima Ltd touched their new 52-week low in trade.
