Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 9.65 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 5.96 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 5.70 crore), Ibull Housing Fin(numbers of share traded: 4.94 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 3.60 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 3.58 crore), Ibull Real Estate(numbers of share traded: 3.49 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 3.05 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 2.83 crore) and MPS Infotecnics (numbers of share traded: 2.72 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 43.7 points down at 16584.3, while BSE Sensex ended down 48.88 points at 55769.23.

On the other hand, Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 6.50 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 5.48 per cent), Shree Cements Ltd.(down 4.61 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 2.98 per cent) and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 2.78 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
