NTPC is currently trading at Rs. 93.50, up by 0.15 points or 0.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 93.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 93.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 94.20 and Rs. 92.75 respectively. So far 214465 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 144.25 on 03-Jul-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs. 74.00 on 23-Mar-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 98.00 and Rs. 92.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 92712.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.02%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 46.20% and 2.78% respectively.

NTPC and Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) have signed a bi-partite memorandum of understanding (MoU) and a tri-partite MoU amongst NTPC, IOC and South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) have been signed at Delhi for ‘Development of Waste to Energy (WtE) facility at Okhla Landfill site’.

Under the MoU, it is proposed to set up Plasma Enhanced Gasification (PEGS) technology-based Waste to Energy pilot plant at SDMC Okhla Landfill site utilising 50 TPD Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) & generating one MW of Electricity. The technology is eco-friendly as there are hardly any flue gases or bottom ash waste. The Pilot Plant is being setup for Technology demonstration.
