🌾🌾#wheat crisis🌾🌾
Where the wheat coming from? So not going in deep obviously there is small short of information that was published by media.
Past couple of year COVID-19 and russia
Ukrainian war play a some major role in downfall of production sector retail and
manufacturing industry majorly. but fast
forward to this week we can see some disturbance in supply chain of wheat price are
all time high and the major reason is not COVID.
India previously had said it was ready to help fill some of the supply shortages caused by the February invasion of Ukraine, which had accounted for 12 percent of global exports. India planned to increase export 10 million
tonnes from 7 million.
🧐But why we help or what we get from this and can we really help is a main question you can ask ?
Because of Heat wave we get some major damage in crop production. Government predict 5% of downfall in this year comparing to 2021 109 million tonnes roughly 5 million tonnes loss in wheat production and 20 million tonnes of wheat depleted in the pandemic.
When India ban the exports the inflation hits hard and went eight years High 7-8% hike in inflation in April. What it's lead according to media prices of food and fuel make real tension in farmers and they have no choice to sell there crops to other traders besides government for better price."We don't want wheat to go in an unregulated manner where (wheat) may either get hoarded and is not used for the purpose, which we are hoping it will be used for - which is serving the food requirements of vulnerable nations and vulnerable people," Subrahmanyam had said.
Now can we help to nation's besides knowing our buffer stock already depelted by pandemic and we already lost roughly 5 million tonnes of wheat in heatwave and this number could be bigger because media didn't post real data all time.
Conclusion - to be honest if we had chance to help someone and we couldn't that's a shame.
"Naam banane ke moke baar baar nahi aate"
And one salute to indian farmers.
And that's my opinion☺️
Hopefully mere post padhke apko acha laga ho.
