Aviation sector breakup 🛩️🛩️
According to DGCA’s report, Domestic air traffic dropped by 7.7% from the previous month. July FY22 recorded 9.7 million travels against 10.5 million in June FY22 (-7.7% growth) and 5.02 million in July FY21, 94% growth from the Covid struck period.
According to the DGCA, seasonality and higher fares were the primary reasons for lower travel numbers.

• Interglobe aviation (Indigo) – 58.8%
• Vistara – 10.4%
• Air India – 8.4%
• Go first – 8.2%
• AirAsia India – 4.6%
• Others – 1.6%
Despite adverse reports about the safety and DGCA restrictions, SpiceJet had the highest seat occupancy (84.7 per cent). AirAsia India had the highest on-time record (95.5 per cent ).
