US continues to add fuel to fire in Ukraine conflict - Russia
Russian ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov wrote on the Telegram account on Tuesday that the United States is continuing to "add fuel to the fire" in regards to the conflict in Ukraine.
"The allocation of an additional $1 billion for these purposes confirms that the United States does not intend to listen to the voice of reason and is not going to contribute to a peaceful settlement of the crisis," Antonov stated.
The ambassador warned that as the US gets "more and more drawn into the conflict" it is getting closer to a "dangerous line in confrontation," which will do nothing but prolong the fight between Kiev and Moscow, and will be no "good for the peace and security."
