RBI rejects ICICI Bank's proposal to appoint Sandeep Batra as ED. RBI rejected the proposal as Securities and Exchange Board of India had imposed 2 lakh Rs penalty on him in a matter related to the merger with Bank of Rajasthan in 2010.
