The Central Crime Branch has arrested former state minister Gali Janardhana Reddy after ten hours of interrogation. However, the key "middlemen", including one Sector 4 resident of HSR Layout are crucial to nailing the Rs 600-crore scam. And that person happens to be Brijesh Reddy, the chairman and MD of CK Brad Group, a business conglomerate firm also based in HSR Layout.

While Janardhan Reddy will be in CCB's custody for 14 days, the police have launched a manhunt for three middlemen, including Brijesh Reddy. According to the cops, Aslam and Brijesh acted as middlemen in the ponzi scam but did not reveal much information. The cops want Brijesh and two other middlemen to help the prosecution build a stronger case against Janardhan Reddy who claims being innocent until proven guilty. However, he does point fingers at several other ministers, MLAs and MPs who had ties with Fareed's company, Ambident.
