The Kasavanahalli voter registration/amendment drive is a runaway success. With the last date of November 20 inching ever closer, the residents across the neighbourhood are flocking to the BBMP centres to either amend their voter IDs or enroll afresh, in addition to other services.
Bellandur residents tweeted about this continuing success story on their Twitter handle (@SaveBellandur) as follows: "Superb turnout at Kasavanahalli. Pls spread and use this also as a tool to bring development back to bellandur."
The residents are not done yet. They want every resident in and around this neighbourhood to get their Voter ID cards updated and amended to be ready for the April/May general elections that will send a new government to rule the country for the next five years.
The residents are asking every resident to do the following in all their social media messages to them:
1. Registering to Vote
2. Showing up to Vote
3. Voting Right
And they have one final word: "No use WhatsApp'ing, make it count."
