Rupee gains for second straight session, settles at 74.46/USD

Climbing dollar pauses for breath ahead of ECB

In morning trade the kiwi had pulled back slightly and traded at $0.7023. The Australian dollar was marginally softer at $0.7474. The yen held overnight gains to trade at 109.88 per dollar, a one-week high.

Dollar hits 3-month high to euro on bets for faster Fed tightening
The dollar strengthened to $1.17720 per euro, the highest since April 5, for a second day running on Wednesday, and was last little changed from Tuesday at $1.17755.
