APL Apollo Tubes Q4 net profit zooms 113.63% at Rs 54.22 cr
The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 54.22 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 25.38 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 113.63 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 35.06 per cent at Rs 1,787.76 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,323.63 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 32.06 per cent to Rs 1,754.46 crore from Rs 1,328.56 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 63.49 per cent at Rs 13.21 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 8.08 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 60.62 per cent to Rs 86.62 crore as against Rs 53.93 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 19.16 per cent in March quarter.
Interest declined by 28.79 per cent y-o-y to Rs 11.97 crore, while Taxation increased by 371.77 per cent at Rs 15.71 crore (Mar'20 Rs 3.33 crore).
